If you like cookies and you like working out, the Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle have the perfect event for you.

The 24th annual Run for the Cookies 5K event was held at Tallahassee Community College. While Boy and Girl Scout troops could participate in the fun, the run was open to the public and open all age groups. Face panting and other vendors also came out to join the fun and cheer the runners on.

Winners of the 5K and one mile run were awarded none other than Girl Scout Cookies as prizes.
