African Dance Workshops

Come experience first-hand lessons in West African dance on Thursday in the Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center and Teaching Gymnasium’s dance studio.

Bathily has more than 30 years of professional dance experience throughout Africa, Europe and the U.S. Bathily is in Tallahassee as part of a series of West African Dance performance events sponsored by FSU’s Big Ideas Initiative, organized by Joseph Hellweg, the assistant professor of religion at FSU.

This workshop is free, but space is limited, so come out early or you’ll miss out!
