Inside the Huddle

Roosevelt Kiser #7 Jr. Fort. Lauderdale, Fl.

Famuan: How would you describe the experience and the atmosphere of the Atlanta Classic?

Kiser: I mean there is no better feeling than playing in front of 56,000 black people. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Famuan: At the end of the 1st half you couldn’t score two yards for a td. Would you attribute this to TSU defense?

Kiser: I’ve got to give credit were credit is do. If we didn’t have so many penalties we could have got it done.

Famuan: About 10 minutes in the 3rd quarter, the snap was missed for a field goal causing TSU to gain tremendous yardage. How detrimental was this play to the team?

Kiser: It wasn’t that detrimental because it was a field goal, so it didn’t hurt us that bad. It just stopped us from getting a few points.

Famuan: It seems like little things such missed snaps and passes are hurting the team, what can you do to improve?

Kiser: In practice we’ve go to make sure we take care of the ball. Today, we caught some really good passes; also we dropped some really good ones. So we got to catch better in practice.

Famuan: With a 37 yard touchdown to win the Atlanta classic last year and this year having 7 catches for 76 yards for an average of 10.9 yards per catch along with a touchdown, it seems like you perform your best at classics. Why?

Kiser: Actually, I have no idea. But you’re right. I do have my best game at classics. It’s the crowd; the atmosphere gets me crunk.
