FAMU Be Out Day 2025 was one for the ages. R&B singer Jacquees pulled up to the Will Packer Amphitheater and Rattlers from all over came to see him. The energy in the crowd was electric as students, alumni, and Tallahassee locals gathered to celebrate one of Florida A&M University’s most anticipated annual events.
From the moment Jacquees took the stage, his smooth vocals and signature falsetto captivated the audience. Singing hits like “You” and “B.E.D.” (my personal favorite), he had the crowd swaying, singing along, and even pulling out their phones to capture every moment. His performance wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience that embodied the essence of Be Out Day—a day of unity, fun, and cultural pride.
But Jacquees wasn’t the only highlight of the day. The entire event was a testament to the Rattler spirit. Vendors lined the pathways, offering everything from soul food to custom FAMU apparel, while student organizations engaged the crowd with step performances, dance battles, and giveaways. The Marching 100 made their presence known with a high-energy performance, reminding everyone why they are the best marching band in the nation.
What made this Be Out Day truly special was the sense of togetherness. It was not just about music or food; it was about Rattlers reconnecting, networking, and celebrating the rich culture and legacy of FAMU. Whether you were a freshman experiencing your first Be Out Day or an alumnus returning to relive the tradition, there was an undeniable feeling of pride in the air.
With every passing year, Be Out Day solidifies itself as more than just an event—it is a homecoming before Homecoming, a reminder of the strength and resilience of the FAMU community. If this year’s celebration was any indication, future Be Out Days will only get bigger and better. One thing is for sure: Rattlers will always show up and show out.
