College students searching for apartments should have it better than ever this year, as three new student apartment properties are expected to open this summer.

Nova, The Metropolitan and Renegade are the new candidates for the upcoming fall move-in.

Nova is located at 600 West Virginia St., just minutes away from FSU’s campus and four minutes away from the Tally Strip’s party scene. It is the only living option out of the three that features a full apartment model in its tour experience.

According to its website, some of its interior features include stand-up glass showers, an LED bathroom mirror and mirrored closets. The amenities that make these student homes stand out include luxury spray tanning booths, a golf simulator and a putting course. Also, with Nova Ride Share, residents can rent out a company electric car through their mobile car-sharing app.

Nova’s units range from about $939 to $1,200 and can be chosen between 17 different floor plans. They offer apartments with Juliet balconies, terraces, large balconies and even have townhome options.

The move-in date for Nova’s residents is Aug. 15, a week before the fall semester begins.

The Metropolitan, also known as The Met, is located at 1701 West Pensacola St. and is five minutes away from all three college campuses.

The property, a five-minute walk from Doak Campbell Stadium, is perfect for FSU game day. It is the only student apartment complex that offers hard-hat tours since it is further advanced in its construction, according to their staff.

Some of their unique amenities include cold plunge therapy, a dog park, a computer lab and an after-hours market. Their staff have been considered “down-to-earth” and their tour experience has been described as highly personable.

The Met has 702 bed spaces and the rates for their units range from about $949-$1,120. The Met’s move-in date is Aug. 23.

Renegade is located at 501 Chapel Drive, a four-minute walk from FSU’s campus, but it still sits comfortably away from club chaos. Renegade is the only student apartment complex in Tallahassee with a rooftop pool. This student housing complex provides various options for its residents to stay fit including its yoga and spin room, a pickleball court and a gym with Lululemon studio mirrors that each feature an AI fitness instructor ready to assist residents with personalized workouts.

Some of their unique apartment styles include studio pods and penthouse suites along with their more traditional-style floor plans. Renegade houses 605 bed spaces and their units range from about $979 to $1,170.

The move-in date at Renegade is Aug.19.
