Christina Stapleton, a student at Florida A&M University, launched a photography business that is making waves on campus.
Her venture, Shots by Stapleton, is not just snapping pictures but creating lasting memories for students and others.
Shots by Stapleton was born out of a passion for capturing the beauty of nature. “Growing up I enjoyed capturing the beauty around me, plants, flowers and trees. The world is so beautiful, and I wanted to capture every moment,” Stapleton said.
Shots by Stapleton offers a range of services, including event coverage, senior portraits, and personalized photo sessions. Students and faculty can cherish significant moments, from sporting events to graduation ceremonies, through her lens.
Kyndal Sirmons, who graduated from FAMU in December, said, “I’ve never hesitated to support. I was super satisfied with my shoot with Christina, especially my most recent grad pictures.”
Stapleton has a true love for photography. Her work is clean and precise. She uses innovative techniques that are bold and catch the eye. With great talent comes great responsibility. Success comes at the price of facing a few challenges. “There are always slower seasons than others, but I find a way to put myself out there and figure out new ways to market myself because every season is profitable,” Stapleton said.
Stapleton manages school and photography well. While school may be a challenge of its own, she still makes strides to be the best. “I can manage academics and my business by creating a schedule that allows me to do both,” Stapleton said.

“My expectations for my business are to continue to grow and tap into different markets,” Stapleton said.
