Fall has officially begun, and this season is all about fashion, Halloween, Thanksgiving and cooler weather. Looking for festive fall activities to do while social distancing? You have come to the right place.

Here are five can’t-miss fall favorites:

  1. Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin patches are the perfect place to get into the Halloween spirit. They are kid- and adult-friendly, fun, and great for families and friends. Typically, you can buy pumpkins, play games and eat at pumpkin patches.

They are usually affordable and sometimes even offer free entry. And don’t even worry about it being too crowded. Pumpkin patches are typically held on farms, so there will be lots of space for people to social distance.

2. Apple picking

Do you like to pick your own fruit? Visiting an orchard might be the thing for you. Whether you are looking to go on a date or want to try something new, apple picking can be very relaxing.

Orchards don’t just have apples; they have beautiful scenery and nature walks to go along with them. Grab your camera and tripod and you’ve got yourself a lovely background for a photoshoot.

3. Corn maze

Sometimes, corn mazes are attached to pumpkin patches. Going to a corn maze can be a great date idea because it requires bonding and working together to achieve a goal. Many mazes have a prize for whoever gets to the end first.

This could also be a good place to go for a family outing. If you plan on visiting a corn maze this fall, make sure you wear comfortable shoes and a cute fall outfit to keep you warm in the chilly weather.

4. Binge on your favorite Halloween/horror movies

If you don’t know what Halloween movie this photo came from, you might have bigger problems than you know. “Hocus Pocus,” a Halloween fan favorite, is just one of the spooky movies you need to be watching this fall.

Add “Halloweentown,” “Insidious” and “Candyman” and you’ve got yourself an awesome October movie list. Log into your favorite streaming application or turn on your television this fall and binge watch your favorite Halloween/horror movies.

5. Carve a jack-o-lantern

Finally, you could spice up the decorations outside of your apartment or house by carving your own jack-o-lanterns. Don’t know what to do with the pumpkin seeds? You can roast them in your oven for a savory fall snack.

The list of fun fall activities could go on and on, but these are five must-do activities for this season. Are you excited about fall yet?
