The Tallahassee Animal Service Center is working hard to save and care for abandoned animals.
The majority of animals in the Service Center are surrendered, or given up by owners who cannot care for them. While at the Center, the animals are given rabies shots and cared for in preparation for adoption.
Many people utilize the Center for its inexpensive animal care.
