On Friday, three artists will showcase their exhibitions at 621 Gallery located in Railroad Square.
Each of the artist works vary from water and clay to drawings and photos.
Andy Behrle of Alabama will display artwork that he has created from water and clay. Jelena Berenc of Illinois will display “analytic drawings,” in a documentary style, which represent different experiences in her life. Leighton McWilliams of Texas, a former graduate of Florida State University, will showcase photos entitled “Stranger in A Strange Land.”
On the first Friday of every month many businesses located in Railroad Square partake in “First Friday Gallery Hop.” This event gives artist a venue to showcase their work and allow local community members to meet the artists. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.
The 621 Gallery is a non-profit organization that was established in 1981. This organization operates under a board of directors, who guide the organization in receiving new artist from the North Florida and South Georgia communities.
