Karisa Olds is a 22-year-old broadcast journalism student with a minor in psychology from the beautiful city of Graceville, Fla. by way of Columbus, Ga. She is the youngest of four. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Chipola College in Marianna, Fla then decided to further her education at Florida A&M Univerisity. Although her ultimate goal is acting, she plans to be versatile in her learning and says she wants to learn every aspect of media. Olds has served as production assistant for the 2008 FAMU homecoming show, associate producer for a 30-min magazine spring show. She has been a correspondent for the news, sports, and lifestyles section of the FAMUAN. She has also received several internships. She interned at WTVM in Columbus, GA., Columbus Times Newspaper in Columbus, Ga., and is currently at WTXL in Tallahassee. She believes anything can be achieved with God, as long as it is believed, but you have to believe in yourself.
