Although the Marching “100” will perform at the Atlanta Classic on Saturday, the investigation of the behavior of some band members continues, university sources said.
The band is contracted to perform at not only the Atlanta Classic but also the home games and the Florida Classic in Orlando.
“The band is under contract for every game,” said LaNedra Carroll, director of university public relations.
“The investigation continues,” Carroll said about the alleged band theft of hotel property in Detroit over the Labor Day weekend.
The investigation is being conducted by Ralph Turner, the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Julian White, director of bands, and Calvin Ross, chief of the Florida A&M University Police Department. Efforts to reach any of the three for comments on the status of the investigation were unsuccessful.
