I am disappointed yet again with FAMU’s Financial Aid. It has been over a month since school has started and I have not received my net check. Most upperclassmen have rent to pay that is due at the first of the month and they do not care that FAMU is slow in giving much needed net checks. I still have utilities bills to pay, phone bills, and I still need gas in my car, which is not getting any cheaper. We want students to stay positive about things happening at FAMU, but it’s hard when we must think about a way to pay our bills. If FAMU is to turn things around they need to start at financial aid.
