The AAA Administration is looking for dedicated, hard-working students to join its various task forces. If you have an interest in communications, community service, graduate student issues, lobbying at the Capitol, athletic affairs, academic standards, student welfare and the state of the university, then you are asking to apply for one of the task forces. The Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is sponsoring a scholarship in honor of 1953 FAMU graduate and tennis and golf great Althea Gibson. The $250 scholarship is open to a female student athlete who writes an essay on the importance of minority females in one or all of the sports recently cut.
