Design students to be recognized for winning state award

Eighteen graphic design students will be honored Thursday at the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication’s all-school colloquium.  These students represented FAMU this fall at the 2012 Printing Association of Florida’s (PAF) Print Awards, which was hosted in Orlando.

Twelve students won the award of excellence, three students were awarded honorable mentions and two students were awarded best of category. These were the top categories in the competition.

Along with being recognized by the university, these students’ works will be published in the 2012 Florida Print Awards Winners Booklet as well as PAF’s Graphic Update magazine.
