From the beautiful crab state of Maryland, Erica Butler was always destined for success. Growing up as the only child, she had time to tap into all clubs and activities such as Girl Scouts of USA, the biblical group AWANA, swimming, dance and music which led to her to attend a performing arts school, Thomas G.

Jordan Culver is an 19-year-old Newspaper Journalism student originally from Philadelphia, Pa by way of Orlando. Since the age of 16 Jordan has been actively involved in journalism, working as an editor for his high school’s yearbook and receiving an editor’s position with the Famuan newspaper during his first semester in college.

Ciera Hall a third generation rattler, is a second year Graphic Design student from the beautiful city of Tampa. Since being at FAMU she has embraced her passion for photography and design. She has become involved with organizations such as Famu’s Graphic Arts Club, the Marching “100” (Flag Corp), NAACP and the FAMUAN Newspaper Staff as Deputy Photo Editor.

Andrew Skerritt, assistant professor of journalism and Famuan adviser, is a graduate of Howard University. He obtained his master’s from Winthrop University. Before coming to Florida A&M, he was a columnist and an editor for the St. Petersburg Times.
