History was made Tuesday when Florida A&M University President Elmira Mangum hosted her second annual Extraordinary Reach. This historical event was held in FAMU's Lee Hall Auditorium.

Mangum Extraordinary Reach was created to inspire women to pursue leadership roles in their desired career paths and give back to their communities.

This event honored women who holds a leadership position in higher education.

This was the first time female presidents of Historical Black Colleges and Universities came together to fellowship and discuss women in leadership.

The panel included; North Carolina Central University Chancellor Debra Saunders-White; Florida Memorial University President Rosalyn Artis; Alabama State University President Gwendolyn Boyd; Wilberforce University President President Algeania Warren Freeman; Savannah State University President Cheryl Dozier.

This is Mangum's third event in her #TellItOnTuesday Women’s History Month series.
