Spring break is the most exciting and anticipated break of the year. It is the one break when many students travel and create lifelong memories together for the first time. There are many different ways you can enjoy your spring break whether you decide to travel or stay in Tallahassee.

Self-care is one of the best ways to relax and reset during this break. Use this as a time to distress and really take care of your body and mind. You can go to the spa and release the tension from your body with deep tissue massages and Zen music. You can also attend aerobics and yoga classes to stay fit and work your body out. Journaling is also a way to reset, think about what drives you to be the best you can be, and what wakes you up in the morning wanting to reach your full potential.

Traveling is one of the most common things to do during spring break. One of the first things you want to do when planning is creating a budget. Creating a budget will allow you to split costs evenly and allow you to enjoy activities within your means. Next, pick a destination that best suits your budget and taste. If you choose to travel outside the country, make sure you book at an all-inclusive hotel for your safety and to get the most out of your money.

Miami is one of the number one hot spots during spring break.

“While Florida saw a bleak 1,500 people a day in 2020 and about 65,000 spring breakers in 2021, it is estimated that 570,000 students will be on holiday in the ‘sunshine state’ this year.” Florida insider said.

So, if you’re looking to party and enjoy the nightlife, Miami is the place for you with over 1,000 places to party and sight-see. You’ll also connect and see many other college students from all over the world. Miami isn’t only known for its nightlife, but also for its food and culture.

If you decide to stay in Tallahassee, you can do many different activities to have a nice spring break still. You can visit American escape rooms which will pick at your brain while also taking you on an adventure. If you’re looking to become one with nature you should visit the Tallahassee Museum, they have a 52-acre lakeside that features wildlife, a nature trail, a period exhibit, different events, and zipline tours.

Spring break will take place from March 13 through 18 this year.
