Glory Days Grills Menu

Juicy, flavorful and delicious are adjectives I can use to describe the food at the award-winning restaurant, Glory Days Grill.

The sports bar cahin opened its first local franchise in late August on Capital Circle Northeast. Although the drive was lengthy, it was worth it because the food and service were great.

The first thing I noticed while walking toward the restaurant was the bean bag toss station, which was nice to partake in after eating my dinner.

Walking in, a bubbly receptionist greeted and escorted us to our seats as soon as we entered. Customers have the choice to either eat inside or outside; we stayed in. While introducing herself as she handed out menus, she also took the liberty to inform us about the daily specials which I greatly appreciated. Lucky for my friends and I, we caught the best special, Burger Monday. They have other specials such as Nacho Tuesday and Friday Fish Fry.

I ordered the Glory Burger, a specialty burger which came with a choice of a side. I ordered sweet potato fries. At first bite I knew that I made the right choice. The burger included the home Glory sauce, fried onion rings, bacon, pepperjack cheese and a fried egg. Everything was well cooked and at a good temperature.

Surrounding us were huge flat screens playing the game of the night, awards and pictures. The restaurant was well put together with plenty of booths and a bar.

The menu has a variety of choices for those who aren’t burger lovers. It offers seafood, greens, wings, soups and desserts.

Glory Days has won various awards for its food and service. Some of the awards are for the best family restaurant, best customer service, 18 times named best sports bar, 15 times best casual dining.

Following my burger, I treated myself to some dessert. I ordered the peach cobbler topped off with ice cream. It, however, wasn’t the best. It was watery and the crust was not it for me. My friend ordered the chocolate and enjoyed it.

Nonetheless, Glory Day Grill was a great eat. I enjoyed the presence of great friends and great food.

Glory Days Grill is located at 1926 Capital Cir NE.
