Campus Greek & Embroidery Shop is a locally owned customization store that sits on a corner at 631 West Madison St.

The owner, Lawrence Greco, said, “Custom apparel, high-quality, trendy, brand-conscious, and affordable,” are the words he uses to describe his shop.

Placed strategically between Florida A&M University and Florida State University, it is the primary source of custom apparel, catering to the FAMU & FSU Greek life community.

FSU student Ashley Brown said, “I found the shop on Instagram and became a fan of their work. When I pledged, my friend bought me a customized shirt and I loved it.”

Upon entering, customers are greeted with a Christmas tree decorated with monogrammed bulbs. In addition, customers step into an array of colors, letters, and creations.

This shop offers customized collections for the National Pan-Hellenic Council – Divine Nine, Panhellenic sororities, in addition to music and service organizations. In total, the store offers gifts for more than 45 organizations. It also offers popular brands like Comfort Colors, Boxercraft and Athena Greek Jewelry.

However, customers don’t have to be Greek to find something unique. This store offers monogrammed jackets, hats, keychains, flasks and drinkware.

“When my best friends and I go on our trip for spring break, I know this shop is where I can come for our customized fanny packs. They provide quality service so there is no doubt that I will continue supporting their shop,” said FAMU alumna Kera Flowers.

Fall is a busy time for this establishment due to football season, new-member presentations, graduations and the Christmas holiday. Different variations of customized FAMU and FSU spirit gear can be found in the store. It keeps stock of the best-selling garnet and gold crop sweatshirts during FSU’s football season. During FAMU’s homecoming in October, the store offered customized clear fanny packs for $22.

Greco said, “It’s our crazy season. It’s a good but hectic level of business. We do a lot of customized graduation stole and holiday gifts.”

Campus Greek & Embroidery Shop’s fall hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. If customers don’t wish to shop in the store, they can utilize the store online shopping option at https://campusgreekshop.com/.
