A-Town Wings has made its way to West Tharpe Street in Tallahassee – and to the state of Florida.

A-Town Wings was founded in Atlanta in 2008 and has been expanding its restaurants in the Southeast. Locations now include Huntsville, AL, Orangeburg, SC, Augusta, GA. In the future, A-Town is set to open more locations throughout Florida.

With the overwhelming response from its initial customers, the franchise has been able to open 17 stores in total and plans to continue building its company.

Each store has slightly different menus and prices. They are each independently owned and operated, allowing a unique experience at every location while staying consistent in quality.

Its simple concept was to serve guests with cooked-to-order gourmet foods at a fast-food rate.

“We take pride in giving the guest the best experience each and every time they come,” said franchise owner, Corey Miller. “We cook our meals fresh to serve.”

A-Town Wings offers a casual family dining experience. The inside of the establishment is relaxed and informal with seat-yourself dining.

The restaurant provides more than just wings. The menu ranges from a three choice selection of fried fish to Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The average dining price ranges from $9-$15.

“I love the fact that there’s so many options to choose from. Yes, it’s a wing place but you can find more here than just wings and fries. It has variety and I like that,” said Tallahassee native Cheyla Baldwin.

The menu offers various combinations. Whether it’s wings and fries, shrimp and fish, or sandwiches and wings, there is something for everyone.

A-Town Wings prides itself in having a wide variety of different flavors. There are 20 different flavors of wings to choose from ranging from mild to sweet to hot.

“I’m from Atlanta, so when I heard A-Town Wings was in Tallahassee I was very excited,” Florida A&M University student Shannon Davis said. “I think Tallahassee needed A-Town because I don’t know of too many wing places around here.”

Like Davis, many people are glad to see A-Town Wings come to Tallahassee. Customers leave nothing but great reviews about the new restaurant.

Tallahassee native Tiffany Harris said, “If you like fresh and crispy wings, then A-Town is the place for you.”
