With unbeatable deals, close to Florida State University’s campus it sure is a bang for your buck that you do not want to turn down.
As a hungry college student, I always try to find different food places that will not only satisfy my growling stomach but also my pockets.
I first discovered Royal Thai and Sushi last semester and have been hooked ever since. Royal Thai & Sushi is a family owned business with their owners located in Tallahassee, which has been here for nine years.
The executive chef Krensa, has been in the restaurant and hotel business for 26 years. Coming from Bali, Indonesia to America in 1995, he wanted to expand his business to show the true essence of Thai food.
The menu features various entrees such as pad Thai, noodles and rice bowls, alongside sushi options including chef specials, vegetarian or classical sushi varieties. Most of the dishes are in the $7 to $20 range. There is also a full bar.
If you don’t know what you want the staff is friendly and happy to give you suggestions on what is great for your taste. I recommend the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Seafood and spring rolls as my side.
Royal Thai & Sushi has distinctive recipes from the traditional to the inspired and each dish is hand prepared in their kitchen daily.
And if you are in the mood for something different, Royal Thai & Sushi will surely exceed your expectations and satisfy your hunger pain.
The scenery has a nostalgic look that makes you want to sit down and enjoy the red, black and white hues with a dim lighting ambiance.
Royal Thai & Sushi is definitely a restaurant worth the visit and it met my expectations for my first time visiting and still continue to go. If you are ever in the West Call Street area make sure you stop by and give this unique place a try.
