Tallahassee museums offer educational fun

Need a way to spend your free time? Tallahassee has several museums featuring an array of exhibits that are both family-friendly and educational.

The Museum of Florida History shows off the Sunshine State's past from prehistoric times to the twenty-first centrury. The Call-Collins House at the Grove Museum preserves the history of civil rights and American history. 

Gulf Specimen Marine Lab allows vistors to not only look but interact with marine life. 

Many of the museums are open all year and are free to the public.
