Florida A&M University Board of Trustee Member, Spurgeon McWilliams, has resigned from the BOT, effective immediately.
McWilliams was appointed to the BOT by the Board of Governors in January 2011.
The Board now has 11 members.
McWilliams resignation comes after two failed votes to fire FAMU’s University President, Elmira Mangum, last Thursday.
