Ben Carson to make a Stop in Tallahassee

Presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson will stop in Tallahassee Nov. 2 during his 38-city book tour.

Carson will appear at Books-A-Million on Thomasville Road at 11:30 a.m. according to bencarson.com.

Carson is promoting his new book “A More Perfect Union” which hit shelves this week.

“I wrote this book to encourage every citizen to think about the Constitution and to help defend it from those who misinterpret and undermine it. In our age of political correctness, it’s especially important to defend the Bill of Rights, which guarantees our freedom to speak, bear arms, practice our religion, and much more,” Carson said in his book.

Carson is behind leading poll candidate, Donald Trump, according to a recent poll conducted by Quinnipiac University.

Although the GOP is very skeptical of Carson’s ability to win in 2016, is ability to raise money cannot be denied.

According to the Associated Press Carson has raised more than $20 million in campaign funding since July.

Carson has created a campaign that rallies largely creativity, drawing in voters that like the more accessible underdog.

Akil Brown, a republican from Michigan said “ I can’t wait to see Dr. Carson, I’ve followed his career since I was kid and to see him where he is now is amazing. Although I don’t agree with everything he says he definitely has some solid points when it comes to immigration and defense funding.”

Carson will stop in Tennessee, Georgia, Missouri, Kansas, South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Iowa on his tour.
