2 Bethune Cookman University Students Killed, 1 Injured

Police are searching for a man accused of killing two Bethune-Cookman University students and injured a former student Thursday afternoon.

The shooting happened at Carolina Club Apartments on Carolina Lake Drive in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Daytona Police reported York Bodden, 27, allegedly killed the two women in a domestic dispute after they tried to evict him.

Bodden, is said to be the boyfriend of one the victims killed.

Bodden allegedly opened fire after nearby neighbor for help with the eviction.

The victims were identified as Timesha Floyd Carswell, 21, and Diona McDonald, 19.

Micah Parham, 21, was taken to Halifax Hospital in critical condition. 

Bethune-Cookman University released a statement expressing their condolences.

"It is with saddened hearts that Bethune-Cookman University announces the loss of two students and the critical injury of a former student.  The students were victims of a fatal domestic violence incident that occurred at a privately owned apartment complex in Daytona Beach, Florida early Thursday afternoon. While the campus's Department of Public Safety is working with the Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD), it is considered an active investigation and DBPD will release all official information.”

Authorities said Bodden is considered to be armed and dangerous.
