The Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor (C.A.R.E) wants you to play your cards right.

C.A.R.E will hold its first Casino Night Fundraiser.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. in which 100 percent of proceeds will benefit animals in need.

C.A.R.E works with local animal hospitals to provide medical needs to pets such as; surgical, medical and wellness care. C.A.R.E helps with animals that are brought in as strays or from families who can no longer provide care for them.

Veterinarian at Northwood Animal Hospital, Dr. Amy Crutchfield explains the purpose of the fundraiser.

“This event is to raise money for the Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor, which is Tallahassee’s only non-profit organization, dedicated exclusively to sick and injured homeless animals.”

Crutchfield also mentions that the event would in fact be set up like a Vegas-style casino night with tables, games, and chances to win prizes.

The C.A.R.E Casino Night will be held at Shiloh Farms 1500 Benjamin Chaires Road on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
