One of a kind sneaker boutique Exclusive Heat prepares for it’s Grand Opening

Tallahassee is about to welcome a new one-of-a-kind sneaker boutique, Exclusive Heat, to its Southside area debuting on Feb. 21, in Kestner Square across from FAMU.

Aaron Goodwin, the owner of Exclusive Heat and Spring ‘14 Florida A&M University School of Architecture graduate, said FAMU students and Southside residents are going appreciate the convenience of a sneaker boutique in their own backyard.

“Anticipate a sneaker boutique that will allow pre-ordering for special releases without lines,” Goodwin said. “A store that will have exclusive shoes, restoration and customs to go with apparel.”

Exclusive Heat will allow customers to pre-order upcoming sneaker releases, while still having the ability to purchase past releases. Exclusive Heat also buys good quality sneaker collections from those who no longer have a need for their sneakers or just want to start their collection over from scratch.

Consumers may be familiar with AGood1RetroRepair, which is a component of Goodwin’s Exclusive Heat that provides customizing, painting, unyellowing, deep cleaning, sole swapping, regluing and fully restoring sneakers.

Evan Galloway, a graduating business administration student and long-time customer of AGood1RetroRepair, is excited about the grand opening of Exclusive Heat.

“It’s something Tallahassee is missing,” Galloway said. “I look forward to one, supporting black businesses and two, being able to network with like-minded individuals who also take an interest in sneakers.”

Johnny House III, co-owner of Exclusive Heat, said will be something for everyone to enjoy by coming to this special sneaker event.

“The grand opening will have free food and music,” House III explained. “We will also have small giveaways to show the community a new look.”

Exclusive Heat is located on 2027 Adams St. and is now accepting pre-orders for all upcoming Jordan releases.
