Despite another strong performance from graduate student guard Jasmine Grice, the Lady Rattlers were unable to pull out a win on Saturday against the North Carolina A&T Lady Aggies.
Grice led the Lady Rattlers (11-12, 5-5 MEAC) with 38 points, eight rebounds and eight steals in an 82-77 loss that saw Florida A&M commit 31 personal fouls on the night.
Junior guard Taneka Rubin was the only other Rattler to score in double figures, adding 16 points and five rebounds.
The Lady Rattlers didn’t help their cause, shooting just 33 percent from the field for the game.
FAMU was able to capitalize from the free-throw line, going 19 of 24, keeping the team in the game.
The Lady Rattlers will continue their tour through North Carolina to take on the North Carolina Central Lady Eagles.
