The Presidential Search Committee is still looking for potential candidates for Florida A&M. The committee will meet this morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom, located in the H.Manning Efferson Student Union.
The board of trustees will meet immediately after the search committee meeting.
Students want the latest information about the search for a new president.
Morgan Frison, a third-year biology student from Sanford, expressed her concern about finding a new president.
“I believe the search for a president is necessary to renew the image of FAMU,” Frison said. “I hope the new president will have that old Rattler spirit and pride that the others had.”
Jackson Willis, a fourth-year business student from Atlanta, is excited.
“Whoever the university picks needs to make sure they can help take FAMU back on top,” Willis said. “The next president has big shoes to fill.”
The board of trustees and the Presidential Search Committee will meet from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
