The Beta Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is making a list and checking it twice.
The sorority will co-sponsor the Second Annual “Color of Christmas” with the Office of Student Activities.
Some of the entertainment will include the Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Boys of Poison and the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
Donations of toys for children between five and 10 will be accepted.
Torrencia Bratton, a member of Delta Sigma Theta, said this is an event to bring students together.
“We are hoping to bring unity,” Bratton said. “We are also trying to bring in the holiday cheers to campus.”
Kierra Mitchner, a fourth-year accounting student from Palm Beach, said she is excited for the event.”
“I plan to donate toys for boys and girls,” Mitchner said. “Every child should wake up to a toy underneath their tree for Christmas.”
The sorority will be also accept toy donations at its Christmas party, Crimson and Wonderland, on Dec. 7.
The event will kick off in front of the Eternal Flame on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.
