Former state senator Alfred “Al” Lawson won Tuesday’s primary for the 2nd congressional district race. according to the unofficial results coming from the election. Lawson will face incumbent Rep. Steve Southerland on Nov. 6.
He is a Florida A&M alumnus who also served as a state representative.
