Florida A&M’s Board of Trustees agreed to change the name of the university’s restructured College of Arts & Sciences. Trustees voted unanimously on the names College of Science & Technology and College of Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities.
COST will house science departments — chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics — and computer informational systems. COSSAH will house all social sciences — including psychology, sociology, arts — including music, performing and visual arts and humanities — African-American studies, history and English and foreign languages, which will be merged under one department.
