The Florida State Seminoles departed Wednesday afternoon for 2012 NCAA basketball tournament to a crowd gathered outside of the Civic Center.
Head coach Leonard Hamilton was the first African-American to win the ACC Championship Sunday in an 85 to 82 win over North Carolina University.
The team’s first tournament game is against St. Bonaventure University Friday at 2:45 p.m.
