FAMU sex pornography is finally solved

The Florida A&M Board of Trustees is suing the company that owns and operates the sexually explicit Web site Daredorm.com.

According to legal documents brought on by the university’s represented attorneys Richard Mitchell and Avery McKnight, FAMU holds RK Net media, Inc., responsible for misleading descriptions used in a sex tape.

The 19-page document states that FAMU’s colors, orange and green, are used repeatedly in the video allowing viewers to insinuate it as being filmed in a FAMU dorm.

The video titled “BigRattler77,” also contained visual portrayal and spoken references to FAMU as well as suggesting that the actors are FAMU students.

According to the document, RK did not seek or receive permission from FAMU to use its logo or trademark on the Web site or for any other purposes. It also stated that RK gave eight of the actors $10,000 in exchange for the video.

FAMU has requested that RK remove the video from its Web site and destroy all copies.

The document stated that RK has yet to remove the video from its Web site, which in fact they have. Cost of damages to FAMU’s reputation will be determined at trial.
