White sorority wins the Sprite Step- Off competition against traditional black sororities

The Epsilon chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority Inc. claimed a victory in the Sprite Step-Off competition held in Atlanta, Ga.

If you have not heard of them, it is because these young ladies represent a predominantly white sorority.

Hailing from the University of Arkansas, Zeta Tau Alpha entered the Sprite Step-Off competition, competing against traditional black sororities.

While most would think that this troupe would not possess an ounce of rhythm, ZTA certainly put on a show for other sororities to take note of.

In a match-up between the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., from Indiana University, ZTA awed the audience as they put on a spectacular show and claimed $100,000 in scholarships.

Although there were critics against their win, Zeta Tau Alpha proved that their performance was a “serious matter.”
