Interim dean Shawnta Friday-Shroud has the job. On Monday Feb. 15, she was named dean of the Florida A&M School of Business and Industry. Friday-Shroud had served as interim dean since she replaced Lydia McKinley-Floyd, who was removed from her position as dean last April.
A professor of management, Friday-Shroud burnished her credentials as chairwoman of Florida A&M’s Southern Association of Colleges and Schools leadership team, which ended with the university’s full re-accreditation.
