Michael King is a senior broadcast journalism student from St. Petersburg, Fla. He applauds the Florida A&M School of Journalism and Graphic Communications for its achievements and giving students such lucrative long-term opportunities. Michael is currently the sports editor for The Famuan while also serving on the senior class cabinet as the Deputy Fundraising Secretary. Michael’s professional affiliations include being an active member in Society of Professional Journalist and National Association of Black Journalist. After graduation, he plans to work as a reporter or news anchor for a major television network in a top 25 market.
