Performer’s violence may bring end to career

Various reports, from sources CNN and E! News, have been released and have confirmed the incident. Early Sunday morning, around 12:30 a.m., singer Chris Brown and a then unidentified woman got into an argument that turned physical near Hancock Park in Hollywood.

The confrontation escalated and the couple got into a fight where the woman called 911 supposedly screaming. The police came and found the woman in the car alone with a bloody nose. Brown had already left the scene, but later turned himself in.

And if this wasn’t enough to shatter images and hopes about the pop star, sources recently verified speculations that the unidentified woman was indeed his girlfriend, Robyn Rihanna Fenty. The two were supposed to attend the Grammy’s last Sunday but both canceled.

According to E!, the sultry songstress was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment after the attack. Rihanna had visible injuries, including bite marks, a split lip and bruises. A person close to Rihanna told E! News that her family wants to get her away from Brown and back home to Barbados.

Brown was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats and domestic violence, but he was released after paying a $50,000 bond. His endorsement with Wrigley gum has been suspended, and his career may be suddenly fading away. There are numerous rumors about what exactly happened with the two.

But a trial is set for March 5, and until then, we won’t really know what happened that night.
Brown, like many abusive men, definitely need to learn self-control. He should learn how to put his foot down without actually putting his foot down.
