FAMU’s Marching 100 selected to join Obama’s Inaugural Parade

FAMU’s Marching 100 was selected to perform in President-elect Obama’s Inaugural Parade on January 20th, 2009. Julian White, FAMU’s director of bands and music chairman, and the 420-member band was informed Friday evening, Dec. 5th, of the invitation by the Inaugural Committee. This will be the fourth time FAMU’s Marching 100 will be performing at a presidential inauguration.
