Candidates wives to vist the Capital City

Wives of presidential candidates Barack Obama and Joe Biden will be in the Capital Cityto talk to collegiate journalists.

Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will host a “Students for Obama” rally on Saturday. The details of the event are still unknown at this time. However the women will be speaking on the importance of the youth vote and how students have the power to change the world.

Earlier today Michelle Obama hosted a conference call with collegiate reporters including several Florida A&M University journalists from WAMN News 90.5, The Famuan and Journey Magazine.

The conference, which also included reporters from colleges around the country, discussed issues important to young people. The Obama campaign has recently set up a Web site, voteforchange.com, where citizens can check on their voter-registration status, register to vote as well as get information on absentee balloting.
