Bush predictions are fruitless

Here President Bush goes again, but this time he is not talking about the war, he is discussing the next presidential election. In an interview for the book, “Evangelical President,” set for release on Monday, Bush gives his two cents about the elements facing the leading democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In the book, Bush predicts Clinton will beat Obama in the democratic race. However, Bush said Clinton will lose the overall elections to the Republican candidate.According to an article on http://www.foxnews.com, Bush said Clinton has “a national presence and this is becoming a national primary.” Bush goes on to tell author Bill Sammon that the person who has got the ability to raise enough money to sustain an effort in a multiplicity of site, has the best potential at winning. Now, whom does Bush think he is to make such psychic predictions. If you haven’t noticed, Bush has not had the best track record with correctly predicting anything in the political arena. However, the only thing he has ever been right about were the results of his two presidential victories. Lets take a trip down memory lane. When it came to weapons of mass destruction, Bush was “sure” to find them but we all know that was a flop. And, when it came to the immediate aid for Hurricane Katrina victims, he was nowhere to be found. The 2008 presidential elections could end up being history in the making. We don’t need Bush in our ears telling us what he thinks will be the outcome.Mr. President, sometimes silence is golden. Bush, it would be wise to sit back and watch everything play out before one goes and makes assumptions.
