The FAMU Writing Resource Center will kick off its week of seminars for “Write Your Way Up” week, designed at improving the writing skills of professionals. All events are free and are held in 100 Tucker Hall. A representative from Bedford/St. Martin’s will be on hand at the Open House Monday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for a faculty presentation. Florida A&M University Office of Public Affairs is looking for writers to be a part of a daily blog. Tallahassee and African Sister Cities Coalition, in collaboration with FAMU Department of History and Office of International Education and Development, invites you to participate in a 10-day cultural/educational tour or 5-7 week community service field project in Ghana, West Africa during the summer of 2008. Come to our meeting at FAMU B.L. Perry General Classroom Building, Room 300 on September 26 at 7 p.m. Students may earn academic credit for their participation.
