Former men’s basketball coach Mike Gillespie plead no contest to stalking charges Tuesday. He was sentenced to a year of probation and ordered to stay away from the victim, former girlfriend Kathie scott.
In May, Gillespie was charged with misdemeanor stalking after he was found driving past Scott’s workplace. Scott had previously reported Gillespie to the police with similar accusations.
Gillespie was released of his duties as head men’s basketball coach earlier this month and is reportedly considering taking legal action against the school.
