State of the Black Student Summit: Moving From the Margin to the Center

The Student Government Association and the Minority Student Leadership Academy host the Second Annual State of the Black Student Summit: Moving From the Margin to the Center, in Lee Hall from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. This event entails a panelist discussion focusing on moving from negative influences in the black student community toward solutions. Some of the panelists include “Cousin” Jeff Johnson from BET, County Commissioner Andrew Gillum, Sister Souljah, MTV veteran Kevin Powell, former Apprentice competitor Marshawn Evans and CSI: NY’s Hill Harper.
