Upgrades not related to accreditation visit

In response to your Nov. 3 story, “Pharmacy finalizes building plans in preparation for accreditation visit,” I would like to make it clear that the recent announcement to begin the planning process for Phase II of the new pharmacy building has no direct correlation to the Nov. 7-9 visit of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, as was suggested in your article. The FAMU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences prepares for re-accreditation by this national body every six years.
