The FAMU String Orchestra has rehearsal Mondays at 3 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Rehearsals will be in the FAMU band room. Interested players of any level are welcome to attend. The Sodexho Servathon team will provide 25 volunteers on Saturday, April 22, 2006 between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Shelter located at 400 West Tennessee Street to assist in feeding the homeless. This is part of Sodexho’s Servathon to help fight hunger in Tallahassee. Spring 2006 Commencement Rehearsal will be held April 28, 4-6 p.m. in Gaither Gymnasium. Attire is business casual. The Graduates’ Reception will immediately follow rehearsal. The reception will be on the Intramural Field. Morning Commencement will be held Sunday, April 30 at 9 a.m. The Line of March begins at 8:40 a.m. The afternoon ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. with the Line of March beginning at 1:40a.m. Commencement will be held at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center. Attire is business casual.
The Campus Bookstore will be open Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. The hours for Sunday, April 30 will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
