The Martin Luther King Jr. university-wide convocation will be held Friday, Jan. 20 at 11:15 a.m. in Gaither Gymnasium. Classes will be suspended during this time.

Literacy Volunteers of Leon County will sponsor a tutor training workshop for people who would like to assist speakers of other languages with their conversational English skills. Workshops will be held Thursday, Feb. 2 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10-5 p.m at the Leroy Collins Leon County Public Library. In an effort to reach out to FAMU, the Alpha Xi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. will purchase groceries for selected students during the next four weeks.
