I am not writing to you about any of the current gaming controversies in the world, but rather in spite of them.
Penny-Arcade a popular web-based comic has for the past two years been holding a charity called Child’s Play, in which gifts are donated and bought with donated money and given to sick children in various children hospitals throughout America. Child’s Play has since raised over half a million dollars, and has just opened its doors for donations this year, in an effort to show that not all of the world’s problems can be blamed on games and gamers.
