Homecoming 2005 was the first time in my past memory of over 20+ years that students and alumni was not treated with the ‘rattler strike ‘ speech. Why? The President makes her presence felt in all other venues of the campus. Suddenly, she is just an acting President and, as such, is unworthy of the honor. Go figure!
