Don’t be selective

Receiving the FAMUAN online is great because it affords me the opportunity to still be up-to-date on what’s going on at a school that I hold dear to my heart. After reading the first issue of the year, I have to say that I am a little disappointed in one story: “Inauguration ushers in newly elected SGA leadership and ’05 school year.” While it does mention the current president and vice president of SGA, it fails to mention three people, by name, who are very important to the student body this year- the Senate President, Senate Pro-Tempore, and the Chief Justice. I have to admit that I was very excited to read the article after I saw the title, but was disappointed when the names were not specifically mentioned. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great that the expectations for the Executive branch were mentioned in the article. I just believe that the others who were honored on Thursday night should have been mentioned as well.
